Probably a 3.5* for the area and taking into account the service. Good straight forward Mama's cooking. Tastes like it comes straight out of an above average home kitchen. Don't go in expecting to be blown away but dont go in expecting to leave hungry. 3.5* Cleanliness and ambiance. Contemporary southern style. Very clean but lacked alot of character and had a lot of bare wall space. 5* Service. Very attentive and friendly. Only thing that bothered us was the phone rang from her pocket which she answered and stopped us to talk in the middle of our order. Thats more of a management issue. To her credit she apologized and quickly passed tbe phone on. 2* Bourbon Sugar Pork Chop was well overcooked and lacked any depth. 4* Field Peas were great perfect southern side. 3* Sauteed Squash. Good flavor but could use a few pick me ups. 3* Berry Trifle. I didn't like it too much seemed like it was one of those quick desserts you make for a potluck.
